Welcome to Redemtech’s M53xx Series Testing Site This site has been established pursuant to the class action settlement in Heitbrink v. eMachines, Court of Common Pleas, Lucas County, Ohio (Case No. G-4801-CI-200501229). This site has been established to help class members who have elected under the settlement to return their M53xx Series computer for testing to see if they are eligible for a cash award. To submit your M53xx Series computer for testing, please enter the computer's serial number in the box below: Enter Serial Number          Once your records are located among the eligible class members, you will be asked to validate your contact information and shipping address so that packaging materials can be sent to you, at no cost. Upon your receipt of the packaging materials, you will need to package your M53xx Series computer and take it to a secure FedEx location. (Please do not leave your M53xx Series computer at unsecured “drop off” locations.) Please use the address labels provided with your packaging materials to send your M53xx Series computer. You are responsible for shipping charges and ensuring that your M53xx Series computer is delivered to Redemtech. You may obtain a list of FedEx locations from http://www.fedex.com/Dropoff/start?locale=en_US To expedite the testing of your M53xx Series computer, you must include your AC power supply adapter. Failure to include your AC power supply adapter may delay testing of your system. You have 14 days from your receipt of the packaging materials to send your M53xx Series computer to Redemtech. Failure to timely submit your M53xx Series computer for testing will prevent you from being eligible for a cash award. If your M53xx Series computer is found to be in compliance with its specifications (that is, if it passes the testing), then it will be returned to the address that you provide through this website. The computer and its AC power supply adapter will be returned to you via FedEx at no cost to you. If your M53xx Series computer is found not to be in compliance with its specifications (that is, if it fails the testing), then your M53xx Series computer and AC power supply adapter will not be returned to you, but you will receive a cash award pursuant to the terms of the Class Action Settlement Agreement. Data Backup and Protection: Redemtech cannot guarantee that information saved on your M53xx Series computer will be intact upon return. In addition, computers that fail the test will not be returned to you. Therefore, it is highly recommended that you save all data and programs on your computer to another computer or storage media prior to sending your computer to Redemtech.
